Do you have a showroom?

We do! Our 2000 square foot showroom has many different modules as examples of all our products. We’d love to show you around!

Why should I buy custom storage solution from Bethesda Custom Closets and Blinds?

Bethesda Custom Closets and Blinds is a locally owned company and NOT a franchise. We offer the same products if not more then the national brands and are able to pass on the savings.

What is the process of getting an estimate for a custom storage system from Bethesda Custom Closets and Blinds?

We offer free, no obligation in-home estimates. We are also happy to do a preliminary design before meeting in person if you would prefer to send us measurements and photos of your space.

What is the average closet cost?

Smaller closet systems typically start around $2,500 while basic walk-in closets start closer to $5,000. All of our quotes are comprehensive and include materials, labor, and taxes.

What do I need to get started?

The first step to schedule a no cost, no obligation estimate is to give us a call or click the link below to contact us.

When are your design consultants available to meet with me?

We are available 7 days a week and will schedule a time most convenient for you.

How long will a design consultation take?

Our first meeting will likely take between 20 and 60 minutes depending on the size and number of space we’re reviewing.

How long do designs take?

In some cases, we can work on your design in your home if you’d like. For larger projects we will provide a design with pricing within 2 business days.

Are your systems re-adjustable? Can I change my closet layout down the road if need be?

Yes, our systems are very flexible and you are able to adjust most shelves and rods as needed so the space may be used differently down the road.

Do you price match?

We are happy to replicate another company’s design. We do price match identical designs if you provide a quote produced in the last 30 days.

Is Bethesda Custom Closets and Blinds licensed and insured?

We are!

What materials are your systems made of?

We use the highest quality, LEED certified, 3/4″ furniture grade melamine.

Where are the closet materials manufactured?

All of our wood products are manufactured in the United States and Canada.

Do you offer lighting options in your systems?

We offer low voltage LED lighting for our shelves and panels that are controlled by remote control.

Can I take my storage system with me when I move?

This will depend on each individual space. We’ve done this in the past and are happy to work with you to determine if it’s the right solution for you!

How long does installation take?

Most of our installations take a day or two, but larger project could require more time. We’ll be able to give you a time window when your design is finalized.

Can I install my closet myself or hire my own installer?

All of our estimates include labor. In order to offer our lifetime warranty, we require that our team complete all installations and therefore we do not sell materials separately.

What do I need to do to prepare my space for installation?

We ask that you empty all spaces – clothes removed from closets, cabinets/drawers emptied, etc – prior to us arriving.

Do I have to remove the original shelves and closet rods before installation?

That is optional. We are happy to remove current systems (including patching and painting) at an additional cost or you can prep the closet before we start.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty on all wood components. This warranty is for the lifetime of the products and is transferable.

How do I care for my closet storage system?

We recommend using a light mild soap and water rag to clean all components. Avoid any abrasive cleaners.
